Kittens and Kids (May 2016)

Ok, these photos are dated now (from last May), but they are too cute not to post. My niece got a new kitten last spring and when we stayed with them in Madison we got to visit the new kitten and her sibs. They were so tiny and cute!

Oliver's 5th Birthday

The weekend before Oli's birthday we invited some of his friends to the park. It was a beautiful day and he played, had cake, and opened presents. We went to Izzy's ice cream on his actual birthday and he ordered vanilla ice cream with a malt ball. He got a new electric guitar which he is super excited about. We love him so! Jo's 3rd Birthday

Life has been busy and this blog has been ignored for awhile. I'm going to try and post a little more this year. This is a belated post for Jo's 3rd birthday (photos from her birthday and the week surrounding it). To celebrate we went to see the Elephant & Piggie play at the Children's Theatre Company, had Punch Pizza, cake with rainbow sprinkles, and played outside. Can't believe she's 3 already. Love her so much!

September Apple Picking

We had some schedule changes today and ended up taking an impromptu trip to Afton Apple Orchard. We ate apple donuts, the kids played on the playground, and we picked (and ate) raspberries and apples. This year the kids were super into the playground and so we actually spent the majority of our time there. They have a giant stack of tires and tons of other unique playground equipment. Chris and I got some rare time to sit and chat with each other while they played. Raspberry picking was next. Oli and Jo both ate their fair share and Oli actually picked a bunch of raspberries this year. Almost an entire container! Lastly we picked some delicious Zestar and Cortland apples. Fun afternoon!
