Girls trip to Oregon

Josie and I had a great time visiting family in Oregon a few weekends ago. We took a long weekend and met my sister out there for a short visit. I was nervous taking Jo by myself, but things went really well! My parents were sweet enough to borrow a portable crib, high chair, and car seat so I didn't have to bring much and managed to pack everything for Jo and I in a backpack and purse (which I was pretty proud of). We got a direct flight which was great and Jo did really well on the plane. On both flights she slept the first 1 - 1 1/2 hours, read books and snacked an hour or so, and played with the ipad for an hour or so. While in Oregon she had some stranger anxiety and took awhile to warm up, but was still pretty flexible and slept well with the exception of the first night. The first two days were beautiful and sunny and we enjoyed a (relatively) warm walk to the river. We ate at some of our favorite places and talked and relaxed. The last few days were grey and drizzly, just as Oregon winters should be :) The trip to the coast was grey but the rain held off and we had a blast. Thanks for a great visit Ayres fam! Miss you all! xoxo
