21 months

21 months old
This month has been fun. Oliver is talking more everyday and it is so fun and funny to hear the things he says. He still loves numbers and now we take walks for him to see the numbers on all of the houses. He'll look at each house and say "Numbers!" or "Lots of numbers!" and then as we walk away "bye bye, numbers." He's also very observant when out on walks and excitedly points out what everyone is doing or riding (I'm sure they love it), "running!" "two bikes!" "red car!".

One of my favorite things he has started doing is...
saying "Mom!" when he has done something he's proud of and wants me to look. I think it started with him wanting to share his success on one of his favorite apps, Endless Alphabet. He has been playing more with the ipad this month. Along with the alphabet app he has a train app he likes, one that teaches shapes, and a few others.

He's still big into books and will even sit through some longer books like The Lorax. Right now he's liking Curious George and Spot books and The Jungle Book, but his book preferences change pretty frequently. We go to the library often and exchange books at some of our neighborhood little free libraries. We have one of these just a few houses away and the people who own the house that it's at know Oliver now and put out books they think he might like. So nice!

And as usual, I can't choose only a few photos I like so here are a whole bunch!
