Monday morning market and Vondelpark

The first thing we did on Monday morning was to rent bikes. This was Oliver's first time on a bike and he loved it! (Don't worry loved ones, we were very safe.)

We decided to check out the Monday morning market, Westermarkt. They sell clothes, shoes, hats, textiles, and some food. There were a lot of people there and close quarters, so after Chris bought a nice handmade hat, we headed out to Vondelpark. One of the reasons we chose the apartment we did was because it was close to this park. It's a beautiful park full of people riding bikes, jogging, kids playing, and groups of people exercising together (including one group of pregnant women). We walked and rode through this park everyday we were in Amsterdam. Loved it!
